Aikido is a Japanese Martial Art that focuses on the practical application of physical techniques to resolve conflict peacefully, without the use of aggression or violence. In Aikido training, students learn how to remain calm and focused in the face of conflict and stressful situations. In addition, students develop increased body/mind awareness and connection, as well as the ability to create greater peace and balance in their lives.
The training offered at Tahoe Mountain Aikido is tailored to the uniques capacities and skill levels of our students. Careful attention is paid to the learning style and pace of each individual.
Tahoe Mountain Aikido classes are offered through the City of South Lake Tahoe at the new Recreation and Swim Center. We welcome individuals and families of any race, nationality, gender, religion, or ethnicity.
